Land Right Services Ltd provides hedge cutting and hedge maintenance services to customers in the public and private sectors. The areas we operate in include Shropshire, Mid-Wales, Powys, and North Wales.
All hedges require regular trimming to keep them dense and compact. Formal hedges need more attention to keep them in shape and looking good.
When to cut a hedge
Pruning / hedge cutting times vary. As a general guide, new deciduous hedges are cut in winter whereas new evergreen hedges are cut in spring. Established hedges require cutting annually.
Hedges provide a vital habitat, creating wildlife corridors that enable animals, birds and insects to thrive. A well maintained hedge not only provides a physical barrier but also acts as a windbreak and shelter from the worst of the elements. We can advise, prepare the ground, choose and plant appropriate hedging for domestic and commercial use, and provide after care.
